First, love the Beethoven with the windows down comparison. I love rolling down the windows while I blast Vivaldi's Winter or LA Foila.
People's reactions are great.
Or playing my playlist in public.
I took a 2 week break from social media-- I post on LinkedIn because I noticed that the constant short form writing was suffocating my ability to write long form
And I hated that.
For the same reason you mentioned, I enjoy long form writing because I can build a relationship with the reader and it'll last longer than short form.
I'm also in the same boat as you. I don't mind writing weekly so long as I have something interesting to say.
Most of the time I scribble notes into Obsidian & don't post
Hey Mohammad, thanks for taking the time to read! OMG I love Vivaldi's 4 Seasons. Thanks for recommending La Folia. It slaps. I'm glad you resonate with the message! Suffocating is a great way to put it. Cool that you took some time off from online to see that this was the case for yourself too. I will say though: a few days later, I slightly disagree with myself and realize that it's possible to do longer form writing at a higher cadence, so this could be a self-created dilemma of sorts. I guess we'll see!
Hit alot of points with me Baxter
